The Simpsons smileys

I was just fooling around with letters and discoverd some smileys representing The Simpson characters.

It started with Bart:

Σ8h

Just after that i found Homer:

€8(h

... and Marge:

mm8h

There's also a bonus, Philip J. Fry from Futurama:

Ω8h

Try this at home
and feel free to comment if you find others ;)

edit: we now have a proper URL for thesehttp://www.simpsonsmiley.com/

edit: Gala upgraded the Bart smiley, the quicly first one looked like this: E8h (thank you for your help ;)

edit: Max added a bracket as the beard for homer. Before that it looked like that €8h

Le Calendrier Project

Hello,
our friends Myriam & Julien are looking for talented people to participate to their "daily illustrated calendar".
If you are one of those, check the briefing and send them a note to confirm your participation.
Here's the big picture:

> JAN 31 2010
You
confirm you'll do it, pick a week and send an idea or concept.

>  From FEB 1st to FEB 15 2010
Le Calendrier
says it's ok and send you back nice words.
You send a more elaborated work.

>  Until APR 29 2010
You
and Le Calendrier are working together to make the best work you've ever done.

>  APR 30
DEADLINE

So now you can:
1. Download a PDF with images.
2. Have a look at the themes of the week
3. Read the whole brief (in french)

In their own words:

Bonjour,

/ Myriam Dousse
/ Julien De Man

iQFont on an iPhone App

This morning we heard something about the iQFont being part of a game on the precious iPhone.

We had to investigate on that.
Some tweets later, we got a screenshot of the game.

Thanks again to these guys for the honor:

Linkli.st, a del.icio.us kept simple

As they say, "Linkli.st is a service for making and sharing lists with links, developed by Martin Ström and Konst & Teknik."

A simple and easy way to collect on the go:
- some links you wanna gather for a specific purpose: i created a list with all the "Top 10" or "Best of 2009" or whatever, to prepare the blog posts of these next days (so, be on Top of the blog tomorrow)
- random links you want to read later: i stole the name "inbox" from Martin Ström, the creator.
- some idea you once had: for example, i always wanted to make a list of all the bands with 3X the same name on their name. So, now, it's done (by someone else). Check this list: http://linkli.st/_jk/41oCH

A bunch of really nice feature:
a list can either be public or private.
other people can add their own links on your lists (or not, you decide).
- the Reply button: to connect a new linklist to an already existing linklist.
- the Clone one: to use another linklist as a base for your own linklist.
- the "Add to my linklists" bookmarklet. Realy handy.
- sharing a list is easy. And the URL is kept really short. Do you know Twitter?
- embed a list on your own website is really easy too. Just click on the "copy" link on your list and BAM! Done.
- RSS Feeds. Of course.

Make Lists, not War

An Insane Menu

The font we developped for our friend Fabrizio's movie, An Insane Portrait, was secretly integrated by our special agent in Lyon, Elsa, during the Grand Lyon Film Festival in october.

She made an animated menu like an ending title sequence.

Clint, Monica and many more ordered their champagne while reading "witches arise"!
